Julia Morgan was an all around badass and a true inspiration for women in this field. She had 750 of her commissions built during her career, an extraordinary number for anyone, let alone a woman in her time. Her most famous commission being The Hearst Castle, a breathtaking castle in the hills of San Simeon, CA. If you get a change to visit, do it! It would be a memorable experience.
